The course work goes to the Student Office (Avni is not in so this is the official alternative) where they will give you a receipt. URGENT MESSAGE CAMPUSES ARE OPEN
All Middlesex campuses are open as usual today - Thursday 7th January. However the car parks are in the process of being cleared this morning as they are very icy. Staff are requested to use public transport wherever possible. Some interviews are postponed.

A couple of questions people have been bringing up...
Terms officially starts the 15th February and we hope to get the new Module Handbook to you just a bit before that. We will be marking in January - many people have turned in some very interesting final projects that we now need to look at in their final version. The campus workshop dates have not been set yet, and we are continuing to add to the resources we have available to everyone OR access to MDX university resources
Does anyone have any suggestions that we can put into the sessions? Some things we need to talk about - any issues about professional practice that you think would be helpful to cover? What about resources or information?

ReplyDeleteThere was a discussion about the use of the Blogs and wikis on the last campus day - we were hoping the Blogs would be continued after this BA(Hons) but maybe after editing for professional context. Aboubak led a discussion about Blogs vs. Facebook and the connections - some wanted connectivity some did not because Facebook was more of a private space. However - if that is the case - talking to fellow students might still be beneficial - we don't necessarily need to be involved - it goes along with the idea of 'action learning sets' that I am putting together some info on - and in this case might be more of a professional study group... you can add this type of thing in your learning journey info in your final report - up to you guys how it happens - we can help if you want - but I must admit - I may not use my personal Facebook because it has only personal friends on and they would not be able to negotiate the extra activity! GOOD IDEAS Something to think about.

Yes - I had people send back ups because of the circumstances, but the paper ones should also be brought in. The post is a bit messed up - I have one finalist still tracing her final report which has not been delivered yet... so bring into Student Office and get a receipt for paper copies.
