We have had some good news - Kayleigh has volunteered to be our BAPP Arts Student Voice Leader. A big thank you Kayleigh! This is really helpful for feedback and advice on how to co-create within the course. I will send an email round about his in the near future.

Please see the slideshare from the session below.

cloud computing and key words

I saw some sponsored content (promotional piece) when I was looking at the news today
http://cloudtransformation.cio.com/article/cloud-mobility-and-the-new-workplace-model/
that is talking about how we are using technology today.

Googling the digital cloud I found everything from commercial sites that offer cloud storage http://www.virtustream.com/solutions/solutions-for-sap?gclid=CP387cvwts8CFVQ_GwodbecGqw and information about the future of art technology http://www.digitalartsonline.co.uk/news/creative-software/adobe-reveals-future-plans-creative-cloud-2016/

I had better luck when I looked up 'cloud computing' http://uk.pcmag.com/networking-communications-software-products/16824/feature/what-is-cloud-computing

Key words can be useful to figure out what you want to know and define terms of what is its you are interested in.... see a past example that BAPP Arts looked at
looking for love!

NEW September 2016 blog addresses

Good to see these blogs up - the majority have the CV/bibliography up and many that have started some very interesting conversations that involve practice. I am definitely going to return to these in the near future. Adesola and I really enjoy these conversations.

I know I probably have a few more addresses than this apologies if I missed yours - but can everyone please add your blog address to the comments or send/resend me your blog address in an email and we can add them to the list!

Also if you have not already - please add the Followers options as it is really helpful.

Update and Paula around all day on the 27th September for BAPP Arts

Hi everyone -

Induction and orientation - yes my thoughts - getting started is sometimes hard to do - start slow - think ahead by reading the materials - you are not late at all - we start next week.

Please look around at others blogs and you should have already started a Skype list o that you can get in touch with others - here is the list that we will now update with new starters http://paulanottingham.blogspot.com/2016/03/bapp-arts-blog-addresses-spring-2015-16.html

Feel good about beginning again !!!! This is a great programme and it is about thinking critically about what you do. There are tasks to guide you but each person will follow their on professional pathway to create the content of their coursework.

I mentioned that I was away this week at a conference http://www.designsonelearning.net and visiting relatives in the States over the weekend.

The conference has been very good... I saw Siemens take part in mock debate on the first day - he was concerned with well-being for online interaction see his professional blog https://www.edsurge.com/news/2016-08-11-our-technology-is-our-ideology-george-siemens-on-the-future-of-digital-learning. and Audrey Watters who used pigeons to talk about educational technology http://hackeducation.com/2016/09/22/pigeon - check out her professional blog http://audreywatters.com

Good conversations to bring back to BAPP Arts - more coming up on these...

FYI   I am around all day on the Tuesday the 27th via Adobe connect and be sorting out a blog list - PLEASE SEND ME YOUR BLOG ADDRESS if you have just started and I will put it on the list.
