Teacher Training email - some links you might want to check out...

THis is the email I got after expressing interest in teaching as a career form teach@ta-recruit.education.gov.uk:

Dear Paula

Your registration number is XXXXXX

As you're considering a new career in teaching, we'd like to remind you that applications for the academic year are open and will run until summer 2014.

Although training courses start in September, applications are considered on a first-come, first-served basis, so it's worth applying as soon as possible to ensure that you get the initial teacher training (ITT) provider of your choice.

Remember, whichever training option you choose, you're guaranteed to spend at least half of your time gaining practical experience inside a real classroom, so you can be sure you'll be fully prepared for your new career.

Before you apply, make sure you research and contact a variety of different training providers to learn about the available places and requirements. That way, if you'd like to train close to home or try somewhere else altogether, you'll know what options are available.

To find more handy application resources, from tips on filling out your application formto interactive interviews, visit our website.

If you're ready for a new and meaningful career, apply today so you don't miss out.

Thanks to Finalists

A big thanks to all Finalists who presented on the 22nd and 23rd of January. Wow! I am a bit overwhelmed as always, it is a fantastic privilege to see the learning journey of fellow professionals.

Many are putting links to their presentations & artefacts up so have a look at the blogs for a real treat!

Reader 4 connection

Try this on and pass it on…

Hi Paula

Sorry to bother you but please would you be kind enough to clarify where the second link in reader 4: http://www.scu.edu.au/schools/gcm/ar/arp/argyris.html should take us, as it redirects to: http://www.aral.com.au and I’m unclear what exactly I should be looking at.

Many thanks

Megan
