banning twitter - Module 1

How does this relate to networking?  Not good or bad - but looking at the points of view. Why are authors involved?

An interesting article that shows how the issue of networking through social media can be seen as a political threat. Is it about networking? is it about connectivity? is it about social learning? is it about safeguarding?

  1. This was a really interesting read! Seems like Turkey has a massive control issue over its people not wanting them to express themselves! the fact that a group of authors have come together to protest against this shows how important they feel it is to express yourself through social media, in that respect have they formed some sort of network? my favourite part of that article was towards the end 'democracy is a culture of inclusiveness, openness, human rights and freedom of speech, for each and every one, regardless of whichever party they might have voted for.', a very true statement.
