New Autumn 16-17 BAPP Arts schedule

Adesola and I looked again at this yesterday - there might be minor changes if needed - but the new autumn 2016-17 schedule is below.

BAPP Arts Calendar 2016 - 2017 Autumn Study Period

Dates will be posted on the calendar in the main BA Professional Practice (135W99X) site http://mdx.mrooms.net/course/view.php?id=859 or go into MyUniHub and look at MyStudy and find this space after you get your IT user name and password.

Note: we will continue to use Skype and the Adobe Connect (Breeze) space for online meetings.

1st WEEK of 26th September (Monday)

Download and look at your Handbooks and Readers + Reading List + Kortext on your MyLearning module on MyUniHub. Your tutor will contact you and you can communicate with them individually. Please let our IWBL administrative staff know if you can access your module site on MyLearning.

Adobe Connect (Breeze) BAPP Arts Meeting Room orientation (Paula)
27th September at 11am and 3pm and 8pm all modules
This is a technology orientation day to help you get connected to our Adobe Connect system and to help get started on the course. There will be a post announcing this session on Paula’s blog. RSVP in the comments of the post on Paula’s blog. You will need wear headphones to use this system.
If you have not connected to the BAPP Arts Meeting Room before – please try this system on this day.

All campus sessions at our Hendon campus – WG50 for 11 November from 1pm till 4pm - this is in the Williams building– if in doubt ask at the Main Reception when you arrive. These campus sessions will run on a theme that will be useful to all the modules with thoughtful group exercises that will help you think/do.

BAPP Arts Submission Friday 6th of January 2017
Submission by 11:55/12pm – more information will be up on My Learning about the final submission.

Oral Presentations (Module 3 ONLY)

19th January (Thursday) and 20th January (Friday) am and pm slots - Hendon Campus - Paula will contact Module 3 students about which day their presentation is scheduled. Everyone is welcome (all Modules) to come and support the Module 3 presenters.

*Note: We have a sharing list with emails and Skype addresses for all on BAPP Arts to connect during the study period. We would also like to get everyone’s permission to use filming during the session to post online for others. Paula will send out the list when we start for new people who want to be on the list.
