The ethical aspects of Google: Storyville programme about Google Books

We use Google.  Google connects us to knowledge and information for free, knowledge and information. Google has both social and commercial properties. We use social media - Web 2.0 content - for work and play.

I watched an interesting programme the other day about these issues that was based on telling the story about Google Books. I don't know if you caught it.

Ideals and ideas have changed the way we communicate and archive, but there are issues around safety. the safety of information, the right of authors, the protection of children. All sophisticated ideas that are a part of the incredible freedom and privileges we have to believe and think with these resources.

Other free online resources exist - but how we allowed to use these resources might need to be a part of our new mindset and skillset?
