The next steps for Module 2: please comment after reading is this is helpful!
Finish looking at professional ethics and the ethical planning that will be needed to your inquiry plan... REFER TO THE FORMS NOW UP ON LIBGUIDE under the Module 2 tab.
Reader 6 and your trial tools and literature. So try out an interview, a survey etc. with your special interest groups or friends - this is not the real research - it is trying out the methods so that you can do them with more confidence during Module 3. Generally trying out the first time is a bit strange but might also remind you of having done similar things before - Ahmet talks about this on his blog.
3 pieces of literature - this is looking to find information and other's research about your topic - this will add to your ability to think critically - using expertise that is beyond your experience. Google is a search engine but also try out Summon from the Library - CHOOSE your key words carefully - this is all about digital literacy and finding out things you did not know... fun stuff! I love collecting sources - BUT - also scan things and only gather sources that you actually want to read and then - you actually have to slow down and think about what they say and what that means to your inquiry planning. It is preparing you to be able to investigate and explore - setting the seeds for further growth...
Last year we had a number of different suggestions for organising the plan - but people fed back to us that having one main outline might be helpful to planning (the plan or proposal). So this is a generic outline that you can change as needed to explain what you are going to be doing for your inquiry - it includes planning for your practitioner research elements - but also how you might take what out found out back to your professional practice...
This is on the final page in the Module 2 Handbook
Use this to draft - edit - and present your final plan (proposal) for assessment. Advisers will give you feedback - send your draft pan to advisers by the end of week 10 (7th December) or earlier if you have gotten it done.
